It took four years, but former Rep. William "Cold Cash" Jefferson was finally convicted Wednesday of charges that included accepting bribes and engaging in money laundering. The Louisiana Democrat could get more than 20 years in prison, though he is still free on bail pending an appeal. Jefferson was filmed in 2005 taking $100,000 in bribes from a government informant, and FBI agents found $90,000 in marked bills in his freezer.
