WICHITA - A line of showers moving into the metropolitan area threatens to make the drive home a wet one for workers in the Wichita area.
Some strong storm cells are embedded in the line, according to National Weather Service radar.
“It’s moving pretty much straight east,” KWCH meteorologist Merril Teller said.
Sporadic thunderstorms are likely tonight in the region, Teller said.
“There could be an isolated strong storm,” he said.
Those storms could deliver quarter-sized hail, winds of more than 60 miles an hour and heavy rains, according to the weather service.
