WICHITA — The challenging economy may be helping Topeka-based CD Tradepost grow.
The company just opened its sixth Wichita store — at 4740 S. Broadway — and is getting ready to open its seventh at 21st and Tyler (near Warren Theatre) next month.
"Since people are a little strapped for cash, we end up getting a lot more inventory in," president Jason Peters says of the business, which buys and sells used CDs, DVDs and video games.
"There's also a lot more people considering buying used instead of new," he says.

The economy has also changed how aggressive landlords are in offering new space to companies like CD Tradepost.
"They're coming after us more," Peters says.
Look for news about one more Tradepost coming to the east side soon.
