Carroll going to artificial turf, too

Bishop Carroll officials said today that the school and ATG Sports have signed a more than $700,000 contract to install artificial turf on the school’s football field.

City League schools play home games at five sites, meaning only one — Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium — will have grass in 2009, if installations proceed as scheduled at Carroll and the three public school fields.
