Two men were arrested shortly after they forced their way into a house and stole money and 2 pounds of marijuana early Thursday morning, police said.
The incident occurred shortly after 1:15 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of North Poplar, Lt. James Espinoza said. The two men kicked in a back door and demanded money and marijuana from the 22-year-old woman who lives there.
They then left, but officers found them in the area a short time later and recovered everything that was stolen, Espinoza said. The woman told police she did not know the intruders, who are 21 and 23.
She may face arrest for marijuana possession, Espinoza said.
