Police seek car taken from man in south Wichita

Wichita police are seeking the public’s help finding a car robbed from a man early Monday morning.

Anyone who spots the vehicle, a white 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis with the Kansas tag 645FAI, should call 911, said police Lt. James Espinoza. He gave this account:

Three men “jumped” a 23-year-old man at about 3:50 a.m. on Monday at an apartment complex in the 2500 block of West 31st South. They took his keys and drove off in the car.

The man, who reportedly was going to meet a woman, suffered minor injuries to his hands.
