Update May 4, 12:38 p.m.: The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is still trying to determine how a 56-year-old Oaklawn man died on Thursday, but foul play has been ruled out as a cause of death, Lt. Timothy Myers said on Friday.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspicious death of a 56-year-old Oaklawn man, Lt. Timothy Myers said Thursday.

The man was found inside his home by a family friend just before 11 a.m.

Myers said it's being investigated as suspicious because the death is considered unattended.

Deputies around 12:45 p.m. were seen talking to neighbors. Myers said it was to ask standard questions and to determine the last time the man had been seen.
