Two boys, possibly 12 and 15, rob Wichita gas station, police say

The Wichita Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating two people — possibly 12 and 15 — after an armed robbery at a Presto convenience store Wednesday night.

At about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to an armed robbery at Presto, 1350 N. Oliver, Officer Paul Cruz said. An employee said two unknown robbers — one armed with a handgun — demanded money. Cash was given, and they then fled on foot.

The first robber was described as about 15 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 120 pounds and last seen wearing a black hoodie with tan pants. He was armed with a handgun. The second robber is believed to be about 12 years old, 5 feet tall, 120 pounds and last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray sweatpants. Both of the robbers were African-American boys, Cruz said.
