A Sedgwick County jury began deliberations Tuesday in the first-degree murder trial of Wichita man charged with taking part in a 2011 robbery in Oaklawn that resulted in the shooting death of one of the victims.
Nicholas Dupree, 29, is one of five men charged in the Dec. 14, 2011, death of Markez Phillips. Wichita police said Phillips was visiting his girlfriend when a group of men forced their way into the home and shot him before leaving with three big-screen TVs.
