Police are seeking the public's help in solving a residential burglary in which somebody stole an estimated $45,000 in cash, jewelry and other valuables over the weekend.
The robbery at a house in the 6500 block of West Briarwood Court was discovered about 3:45 p.m. Saturday by the owner when he returned home, Lt. Doug Nolte said.
The robber broke a window pane on a door, reached through and unlocked the door, he said.
Two safes were taken, but big-screen televisions, computers and other electronics were left behind, Nolte said.

The property has video surveillance, which showed the suspect was a man about 5-feet-10 with a medium build who was wearing a hard hat, a light-colored T-shirt and blue jeans.
