Hutch man gets nearly three years in stalking case

HUTCHINSON — A man has been sentenced to nearly three years in prison for stalking and other crimes.

Bret Fallis was sentenced Friday to two years and eight months. Reno County District Judge Tim Chambers said he was sending Fallis to prison to ensure that he attended alcoholism treatment classes.

The Hutchinson News reported that under a plea agreement, Fallis admitted four counts of stalking, two counts of violating protection-from-abuse orders, and one count each of aggravated burglary, burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, criminal threats and attempted aggravated burglary.
