The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin Monday to repair six bridges along Kellogg — stretching from Seneca to downtown.

The repairs will reduce eastbound Kellogg to two lanes, according to a release from KDOT. Crews are repairing bridges over Seneca, Sycamore and the Central Business District. Repairs include bridge expansion joint repair, patching and concrete overlay.

Two other eastbound bridges – over Edwards and Meridian – also will be repaired along with a bridge on westbound Kellogg downtown. On those bridges, lanes will be closed at night and overnight, according to the news release. The lanes will reopen by 6 a.m.

Wildcat Concrete Services of Topeka is the contractor on the $1,458,631 project. It is scheduled to be completed in late November.
