East High School to host benefit concert for earthquake victims

East High School in Wichita will host a concert Saturday to benefit earthquake victims in Nepal.

The event is 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium at East High, 2301 E. Douglas. Tickets are $5. All proceeds will be donated to the Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund via GlobalGiving.org, said Sneha Verma, an East High junior who organized the event.

The concert, organized by East High students, the Wichita Asian Association and Rotaract, will include performances by Bollywood-style singers and dancers, a jazz quartet and more, Verma said.
