Wichita police have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run crash on Monday.

Christian Rials, 22, of Wichita, was attempting to cross Kellogg at Oliver when he was struck by a black BMW 3 Series at around 9:22 p.m. on Monday, Officer Paul Cruz said in a release on Wednesday.

Rials was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car did not stop at the crash, police said. A 20-year-old man who police said was involved in the crash was arrested after he went to the police department's Patrol East substation at around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Booking reports show Michael Isaac Stockton, 20, of Valley Center, was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop at an accident and driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license in connection to the crash.

The BMW, which police previously said they were looking for, has been found.
