An 87-year-old Crawford County man was killed Monday when the pickup he was driving collided with a semi truck.
The crash happened at the U-69 bypass near Arma in Crawford County shortly after 8:30 a.m. Monday, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
Fred Bogina was driving a 2002 Dodge pickup east bound on 640th avenue near Arma when he failed to yield at the U-69 45 intersection. The two vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the report.
The driver of the Peterbuilt semi was Justin Eddie Horner, 27, of Kingman. The truck was northbound on U-69 at the time of the crash.
