Wichita officials are nearing a $500,000 agreement with Goody Clancy to develop a downtown revitalization master plan.
A contract could be finalized as soon as Thursday, setting the stage for an Oct. 13 vote by the City Council.
Goody Clancy, a Boston-based architectural and planning firm, pitched a $475,000 plan.
The proposal includes several options that would add to the cost, including a $100,000 transportation master plan that would examine bike lanes, pedestrian paths, freight ways and parking options.
