Home Depot will host a job fair Wednesday in hopes of filling more than three dozen openings in Wichita, according to a news release.
The event will take place at the east Wichita Home Depot, 3350 N. Woodlawn, store from 2 until 8 p.m. The home improvement chain is hoping to fill 38 openings at its east Wichita location, according to the release.
Home Depot is looking to hire 80,000 new employees in anticipation of the busy spring season, traditionally the store’s busiest, the release said. Hiring opportunities include positions in sales, customer service, cashier, lot, and freight across all departments.
On-site interviews will be conducted for permanent part-time and seasonal positions, according to the release. Those interested in the event are encouraged to apply online before the event by visiting careers.homedepot.com/jobs-in-bloom.
