At last, there’s a deal for the Hardee’s that’s been flirting with the former QuikTrip site at the northeast corner of Harry and Hillside.
Krista Racine of J.P. Weigand & Sons and Don Arnold of John T. Arnold Associates handled the deal.
In May, Have You Heard? reported that although no one was talking yet, it sounded as if a Hardee’s deal was close to being finalized and that the chain would open in a new building there.
A contractor then submitted plans to the city, though that still didn’t mean the deal was finalized. Now it is.

Since Hardee’s re-entered the market, the first new Hardee’s opened early this year at New Leaf Plaza at the southwest corner of 21st and Amidon.
The second is in Derby across from the Derby Marketplace.
Typically, once construction starts, it takes about three months for a new Hardee’s to open. We’ll continue to keep you posted.
