Jessie Sterling continues to Paint the Towne.

She’s preparing to open her third paint-and-sip business next month, this time at Clifton Square, 3700 E. Douglas.

“The idea just seemed fun,” she says of opening there.

Sterling calls it “just a trendier little place.”

The business will be between Ziggy’s Pizza and Dempsey’s Burger Pub.

There are new owners of Clifton Square, and Sterling says they have great plans to revive the center.

“I just really liked what I’d heard.”

In addition to the 1,600-square-foot space, Sterling will have her first patio as well.

“We’ll be able to offer two classes at one time at this location,” she says.

There are already Paint the Towne locations at Kellogg and Rock and near Central and Ridge Road.

“This will be our seventh year,” Sterling says.

The BYOB business guides guests step by step through paintings as they sip their favorite beverages.

“We also do lots of kids’ parties,” Sterling says.

There are classes by appointment and open classes as well.

Sterling says she wants to take part in Final Friday and other events where there are opportunities to invite people into the business.

She says she likes College Hill and the people there.

“I just like the vibe.”
