One year after opening Oaklyn Reece Boutique in Clifton Square, Amie Donivan is going to be reopening her business at Aspen Plaza at Douglas and Oliver.
“I like that everybody there is like a big family,” Donivan says.
She’s already closed at Clifton Square and will reopen in August.
Donivan is taking the space that Lola Boutique currently is in.

“It was mostly my daughter’s store,” says owner Shawna Waggoner, who teaches full time.
Her daughter, Addison Buck, is moving to San Francisco to become a flight attendant.
“It’s really exciting,” Waggoner says. “It’s a happy ending.”
Lola’s last day in business is Saturday.
Donivan says the 1,500-square-foot space not only offers more room for her store, which sells women’s clothing and accessories, but it’s an open area where friends can shop and hang out together.
She says she also sees a lot of benefit to being by Aspen Boutique, which her landlords, James and Monica Smits, own.
Donivan says she thinks people who shop at Aspen will be likely to stop into her business as well. She also says James Smits has been especially helpful already.
“James is amazing,” Donivan says. “It just seems like he really wants our business to do good.”
