Jesse Hidalgo has signed a lease for his second Wichita Hearing Group, which will open next month in the former Wichita Pilates Group space near Central and Woodlawn.
Hidalgo opened his first Hearing Group in 2014 at Maple and Maize Road.
“We had a lot of our patients coming from the east side,” Hidalgo says.
He says they requested that he come east. He says others told him he was too far for them to consider coming, though they wanted to, particularly for his trial program that offers free hearing tests and hearing instruments that patients can sample.

“We’re just a little too far away,” Hidalgo says.
He says he’s trying to get the new Hearing Group open by the beginning of March.
It’ll be in about 1,300 square feet next to Stems near the northwest corner of Central and Woodlawn.
Leisa Lowry of J.P. Weigand & Sons handled the deal.
“We don’t have any others in the works yet,” Hidalgo says of more Hearing Groups.
“Yet” is the key word.
Hidalgo says he should have more news down the road.
