Melanie Swanson moves Wichita chiropractic office to commercial space

Chiropractor Melanie Swanson is moving her Wichita clinic from a home office to a larger commercial space in order to add a second chiropractor and a massage therapist to her business.

“I outgrew the home office,” she says.

Swanson first opened in Newton in 1994, where she continues to practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and opened a second office in Wichita about eight years ago.

The new office will be at what Swanson is calling the Natural Solutions Health Center at 8000 W. Central between Tyler and Ridge Road.

“I want to teach people to be healthier … so they’re not sick all the time,” Swanson says.

In addition to new staff, who she’s interviewing for now, Swanson has a couple of nurses who hold classes to teach “a better quality of life.”

“The days I’m not there, they’re teaching classes, so it’s really kind of cool.”

That includes classes about natural products and essential oil practices.

Swanson says she’ll also have a machine to scan people’s bodies to detect issues that oils and other products can help solve.

“It is fabulous.”

Don Piros of Landmark Commercial Real Estate handled the deal for the space, which Swanson says she’s moving into now.

“It’ll be about two weeks before I’m up and full-blown going.”
