Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is on the menu at the new ballpark
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will join the concessions at the new ballpark when the Wind Surge team debuts this spring.
Freddy’s partner Randy Simon says the team is the franchisee for the restaurant, which will be an abbreviated form of a typical Freddy’s.
“We’ll train their people,” Simon says.
There won’t be any Freddy’s hot dogs.
“They’ll have their own hot dogs,” Simon says.
He says there likely won’t be any chicken either because it takes longer to cook.
There will, though, be Freddy’s signature burgers, custard and fry sauce.
“We don’t look at it as a normal expansion of the restaurant concept,” Simon says. “We look at it more as a community activity for us to be involved in and a way that we can support the new team coming to town. We certainly are excited about that . . . and being a part of it.”
