There's finally a new occupant for the formerPrairie Village Liquor space at Prairie Village Shopping Center at the southwest corner of 13th and Woodlawn, and it's a familiar one.

Lee Nguyen is moving his Happy Nails from not quite 1,000 square feet at the center to the 2,300-square-foot former liquor store space, which is at the northwest corner of the center.

The new space will open June 26.

Happy Nails offers manicures, pedicures, waxing and eyelash extensions.

Wichitan Pat Hysko, who has been Nguyen's customer for about five years, says she's always been impressed at how positive and dedicated he is. She says Nguyen is especially particular and keeps his salon immaculate.

"There's never a smudge or leftover acrylic nails or anything," she says. "In the off hours, somebody could do surgery in there."
