A new Verizon store is going to open at Greenwich Place at K-96 and Greenwich this summer.

North Carolina-based Victra, which has more than 1,150 stores nationally, is opening the 2,500-square-foot store next to Freezing Moo.

The store will have phone and tablet sales and service.

Stephanie Wise of John T. Arnold Associates handled the deal for the Greenwich Place space.

"It's a cool development," says Dan McDonnel, a Victra site selector. "We're happy to be in there."

Look for the store to open in mid-June.

Victra owns five stores in the Wichita area.

McDonnel doesn't have other news for now, but he says, "We're always looking to grow."
