Jacob Liquor Exchange now has an app for ordering liquor for its east-side store at 3049 N. Rock Road.

“We, like everyone else in the free world, are trying to find new ways to make it easier for our customers,” says retail manager April Snow.

Customers can go to the app or the store’s website to shop for weekly specials that they can then pick up within the hour.

“You do have to come into the store,” Snow says.

That’s due to Kansas liquor laws.

“But we can just basically do your shopping for you,” Snow says.

Initially, orders will be for weekly specials only. Snow says the idea is to one day have ordering capability for the whole store and the Jacob Liquor on the west side, too.

“Eventually, that is our goal.”
