Sleeptopia partners Kevin Kunz and Jennifer Burns signed a lease this week to expand the company to Kansas City.
The business, which offers in-home diagnostic sleep testing, will have a downtown presence at 111 W. 10th St.
Next up, Kunz and Burns are looking for office space in Pittsburg and Dodge City.
“We’ve been doing business out there already,” Kunz says. “We’re driving out there every week. It’s time to pull the trigger, I suppose.”

Medical assistants will deliver supplies out of those offices.
“It’ll help generate our turnaround time fast,” Kunz says.
He says it will increase volume as well.
Kunz says the idea in part is to have a “presence out there more so than what we already have.”
Also, he says, “The driving is getting crazy.”
Sleeptopia markets to people across Kansas.
“In two years, we’d like to have four locations in Kansas,” Kunz says.
He say he and Burns want to go to Oklahoma City as well.
The headquarters for the 4-year-old company is at 411 S. Pattie in Wichita.
“Our corporate office will always remain here,” Kunz says.
