Buildings or projects completed over the last few years and that exemplify outstanding architecture are being sought for the annual Keeper of the Plains award.
The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce has opened its nomination process for the award, which is presented annually to honor an outstanding architectural achievement.
The Keeper of the Plains award committee considers aesthetic quality, degree of improvement, visibility and maintenance, according to a news release from the Chamber. The award will be presented at the Chamber’s Honors Night banquet in April 2014.
To be eligible, construction must have been completed between Jan. 1, 2010, and July 1, 2013. Projects must be within Sedgwick County, and the recipient must be a Chamber member.
