WIBA hosts Disney Institute professional development course

Every week, business owners contact WIBA for resources to help them grow their business.

They want to know how to train employees, how to build customer loyalty, and how to deliver a quality product or service consistently.

Rarely is there an opportunity to provide all of these resources in a one-day workshop.

Until now.

Later this month, the Wichita Independent Business Association is partnering with Disney Institute to bring “Disney’s Approach to Business Excellence” to our community.

Many local businesses send their people to Orlando, Fla., for this training each year, but this is the first time Disney Institute has been presented in Wichita since 2010.

Everything Disney does is about delivering a world-class guest experience. What allows them to consistently deliver the highest levels of service is related to how they intentionally design every aspect of their business.

That is the key source of what differentiates Disney in the marketplace.

Disney Institute uses business insights and time-tested examples from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide to provide relevant illustrations and engaging stories that help local businesses develop their own customer experience culture.

The professional development courses offered by Disney Institute identify ways to positively impact any organization and the customers it serves. The course specifically addresses the topics of leadership, employee engagement and service.

I invite you to join us for a full day of enlightenment and networking at National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) on Sept. 28.

Experience Disney’s five core competencies: creativity/innovation, leadership excellence, quality service, brand loyalty and selection, training and engagement. Together they create a powerful business strategy relevant to any company or industry.
