KCAC Aviation on Thursday brought more than a half-dozen piston and turboprop airplanes – and a business jet – to its annual Great Planes Air Expo at Mid-Continent Aviation Services at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport.
KCAC marketing director Mike Turner said the annual event, in its eighth year, is a way to bring airplanes to the customer, since not all of them are able to attend “the NBAAs and Oshkoshes of the world.”
The half-day-long event featured nine aircraft from six manufacturers: Beechcraft, Cessna, Cirrus, Pilatus, Piper and TBM.
It also included representatives from UMB Business Aviation Financing, Wings Insurance and Aviation Tax Consultants.
“It’s a great way for someone who only has a couple of hours to come in and look at not only the airplanes but get an overall perspective of what their purchase might be in the coming months,” Turner said.
The expo will make its way to nine Midwest states over the next six months.
KCAC is a fixed-base operator at Johnson County Executive Airport and an authorized dealer of Piper and Pilatus aircraft.
