Bombardier signs maintenance deal with Republic Airlines

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that it has signed an exclusive nine-year heavy maintenance agreement with Indianapolis-based Republic Airlines for its 32 Q400 aircraft.

Bombardier officials said in a news release that under the agreement, Bombardier will perform all heavy maintenance tasks for the airline’s fleet of Q400 aircraft at its service canters in Macon, Ga., and Tucson, Ariz., through June 2021.

In addition, Republic Airlines has agreed to terms to enroll its aircraft in the Bombardier Smart Parts program, which promises competitive and predictable repair costs and availability of key components for Republic’s Q400 aircraft fleet.
