Wichita Aero Club officials said Friday that its Monday reception at hotel entrepreneur Jack DeBoer’s hangar will include the appearance of the Cessna Citation Latitude.
Aero Club president Dave Franson said Friday that Textron Aviation’s newest mid-size business jet will be at DeBoer’s Wichita Air Services Hangar, as will Cessna chairman-emeritus Russ Meyer.
Textron Aviation CEO Scott Ernest will also be in attendance, a company spokeswoman confirmed on Friday afternoon.
DeBoer’s use of airplanes in his building his extended-stay hotel concepts will be the focus of the event, which will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the hangar at Jabara Airport, 3512 N. Webb.
Aero Club officials said the reception is in lieu of its traditional July luncheon.
