Wichita State University will hold a grand opening of its Koch Global Trading Center on Friday, the university said in a news release.
The event will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the lobby of Clinton Hall on the WSU campus.
The 800-square-foot center on Clinton Hall’s main floor, will have real-time quotes, international data feeds and analysis software to prepare business students for work in the financial and commodity markets. It also is intended to educate students about the effects trading has on all aspects of business.
WSU President John Bardo and WSU Foundation President Elizabeth King are scheduled to deliver remarks prior to a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
