Amy Gross has been named executive vice president of operations and training for Dale Carnegie – Kansas Heartland.


Brad Elliott, chairman and CEO of Equity Bancshares, the Wichita-based holding company of Equity Bank, was named a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018 Award in the Heartland program.


Baird has named Jill Docking, senior vice president, financial advisor, the 2018 recipient of the Brenton H. Rupple Citizenship Award. The award includes a donation from the Baird Foundation to the charity of Docking’s choice, the Kansas Council for Economic Education.

Tim Buchanan, president and CEO of Legend Senior Living, was elected chairman of the board for Argentum, a national association representing senior living operators, residents and their families.

The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita has hired Rachel Brown as chair of the department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences.


Jeff Mullen, chief financial officer for Dondlinger Companies, was elected to a four-year term on the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Board of Directors.


B. Keith Edwards, formerly an assistant district defender in Topeka’s Third Judicial District Public Defender’s Office, has joined the criminal division of Joseph, Hollander & Craft’s Wichita office.

Sarah Johnson, a former Kansas Capital Appellate Defender, has joined Monnat & Spurrier, Chartered to lead the firm’s appellate practice and legal research and writing section.

Alan Rupe, Lewis Brisbois managing partner, has been been ranked in “Band 1” in the 2018 Chambers USA listing of Kansas Labor & Employment lawyers.
