Ruggles & Bohm, a Wichita-based engineering and design services firm, has sold to a much larger Arkansas-based firm that does business here.
Garver, which is based in North Little Rock, Ark., acquired the 12-person company, which started in Wichita in 1992 with four employees.
Ruggles & Bohm president Chris Bohm, who is remaining the office’s point of contact, couldn’t be reached for comment.
In a statement, he said that the “transition combines our local expertise with a staff of nationally recognized engineers that will provide our clients with a level of service not before possible, and our employees with unparalleled benefits and growth opportunities.”
Garver already does work in Wichita, including at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport, and now has two offices here and one in Overland Park. It operates in 10 states with almost 500 employees at 24 offices.
