Groundbreaking

Meritrust Credit Union will hold a groundbreaking of a full-service branch in Andover at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 15. It will be located in the Andover MarketPlace at the southeast corner of Kellogg and Andover Road and is expected to be completed in spring 2018. The new branch is one of two that will replace an existing branch at One Kellogg Place at Kellogg and Greenwich.

Recognized

Spirit AeroSystems recognized 14 suppliers for superior performance, including six that are based or have operations in Kansas: Coffeyville SETKAM in Coffeyville; GKN Aerospace Precision Machining in Wellington; Center Industries Corp. in Wichita; Arconic Global Rolled Products in Hutchinson; H.M. Dunn AeroSystems in Wichita; and Airgas in Wichita.

Charity

Two Men and a Truck Wichita franchisee Garret Peterman and his employees have begun collecting cleaning supplies and non-perishable food that they will transport to the Houston area in one of the company’s moving trucks on Sept. 20. Between now and then the company is accepting donations of those items at its two Wichita locations: 8537 W. 21st and 309 S. Greenwich.
