The Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants said Wednesday nine Wichitans will participate in its leadership development program.
In all, 22 CPAs from across the state were named to the society’s 20 up to 40 Leadership Program. The program, consisting of five sessions over the course of a year, aims to help members who are 40 or younger develop leadership skills.
The Wichitans named to the 2014 program are: Angela Beebe of Spirit AeroSystems; Brenda Dehn of Flint Hills Resources; Josh Dennis of Grant Thornton; Jonathan Porter of Dunning & Associates CPAs; Jessica Schmiedbauer of Kennedy and Coe; Shekima Smith of Ernst & Young; Zachary Spear of Allen, Gibbs & Houlik; Amanda Walker of Bever Dye law firm; and A.J. Worthington of BKD.
