The 34th annual Wichita Area Economic Outlook Conference starts at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the Century II convention hall.
The event, which runs until about 11:30 a.m., will offer a look at what’s ahead for small business, agriculture and health care, and also provide a broader look at the region’s economic and job outlook.
Speakers include William C. Dunkelberg, chief economist for the National Federation of Independent Business; Nathan S. Kauffman, economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Omaha branch; Robert St. Peter, president and CEO of the Kansas Health Institute; and Jeremy Mill, director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research at Wichita State University.
