The Kansas Public Employees Retirement System said Wednesday it has hired Bruce Fink as deputy chief investment officer for public markets, a new poisition.
Fink, a chartered financial analyst from Indiana, was hired for his expertise in public equity and fixed income assets, said Elizabeth Miller, KPERS chief investment officer, in a news release.
“Bruce has a strong understanding of how investments support our mission of delivering member benefits,” Miller said in the release.
Fink was most recently director of investments for Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Ind.
