Value Place adds hotel in Washington, D.C., area

Extended-stay hotel chain Value Place said a four-story, 124 room under its flag has opened in Manassas, Va.

The hotel is the second in the Washington, D.C., area that Value Place has opened this year. The other is near Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

Value Place said in a news release that the Manassas hotel is 30 miles away from Washington, D.C.

The Wichita-based company has 184 hotels in 32 states, 50 of which it owns. It earlier announced a $63 million project to build nine company-owned hotels in the Denver area starting late this year or early next year.
