Cargill aided in fundraiser that netted Kansas Big Brothers $1.8 million

Cargill said that it was a major contributor to a recent fundraiser that netted $1.8 million for Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The company said in a news release that it donated $100,000 to the Summer Soiree fundraiser that honored Bill Hanna, the former chairman of the nonprofit organization.

Cargill also said it has more than 50 Wichita-based employees who are mentors in the BBBS program.
