The Kansas Health Foundation has awarded more than $830,000 in a recent round of grants to organizations across the state, according to a news release.
The grants are intended to help organizations pursue projects to improve the health of Kansans.
“Any tax-exempt, non-profit organization using the money for charitable purposes and proposing a project meeting the Foundation’s mission to improve the health of all Kansans is eligible,” according to the release.
Every year, the foundation allocates up to $2 million for the recognition grants. Application deadlines for the grants are March 15 and September 15 of each year.
