Tom Dondlinger of Dondlinger & Sons Construction and Dave Murfin of Murfin Drilling have been elected to the Steering Council of the Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition.
Both will serve three-year terms.
Scott Eilert of Cargill Meat Solutions, Sherry Hausmann of Via Christi Health and Sheryl Wohlford of Automation-Plus were appointed to the council for two-year terms.
The GWEDC is the local economic development organization comprised of representatives of the city of Wichita, Sedgwick County and private business. It is managed by the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Other members of the GWEDC Steering Council are chairman Steve Sharp, Spirit AeroSystems; vice chairman Gary Schmitt, Intrust Bank; and secretary and treasurer Lynn Nichols, Yingling Aviation.
Representing the private sector are Don Sherman, senior manager, Westar Energy; Jim Walters, Cessna Aircraft Co.; Debbie Gann, Spirit AeroSystems and chairman of the Chamber of Commerce; and Gary Plummer, Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Public officials on the council include Jim Skelton, Sedgwick County Commission; Dave Unruh, Sedgwick County Commission and chairman of the Regional Economic Area Partnership; Carl Brewer, Wichita mayor; Bob Layton, Wichita city manager; and John Bardo, president of Wichita State University.
