WICHITA — Everything that didn't sell at the Checkers' going-out-of-business sale by Tuesday when it closed is now going to be up for auction.
Megan McCurdy says it's going to be a big one.
"Basically everything you'd find in a grocery store," she says.
McCurdy Auction will hold an auction at 9 a.m. on June 18 and 19.

The grocery store, which was in the Pawnee and Hydraulic area since 1987, has already sold all of its fresh produce and meat. Other food, such as canned goods, remains along with cosmetics, pharmacy and pet supplies.
At noon on the second day of the sale, the store's equipment will be sold. That includes a forklift, walk-in coolers, shelves, ovens and meat slicers among other things.
McCurdy says the auction is so big, there will be multiple auctioneers working simultaneously.
"They're going to be long, full days."
Scholfield Buick GMC also is having an auction at 10 a.m. on June 13 to sell the furniture and equipment at its former store at 7633 E. Kellogg. The dealership moved to the southwest corner of 13th and Greenwich.
She says the auction includes office furniture and shop equipment, such as lifts, tools and an alignment machine.
"That one's pretty manageable," McCurdy says.
Finally, McCurdy is going to be holding one of its quarterly auctions for about 40 mostly residential investment properties at 6 p.m. on June 27 at the Holiday Inn near Kellogg and Rock Road.
Each of the properties will be open to tour from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 23.
Most of the properties are available to see at www.mccurdy.com. All of them will be posted by the end of the week.
