Callaway named to KU medical school post

Paul Callaway, former Wesley Family Medicine program director, has been appointed associate dean for Graduate Medical Education at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, according to a news release.

Callaway replaces Robert McKay, who was interim associate dean.

Callaway graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and completed a residency at St. Joseph Family Medicine in Wichita.

His work has focused on targeting diabetes and cardiovascular disease, according to the release, and he has written about maternity care and caring for dying patients.
