The Aging and Wellness Coalition of Sedgwick County and the Newman University School of Social Work are teaming up to offer classes to senior citizens, according to a news release.
Senior University will be held from June 11 to June 13 for people who are at least 55 years old.
The classes will include topics such as oil fracking, origami, Egyptology and Zumba. There will also be book presentations, wine tasting and animal programs from the Great Plains Nature Center, Tanganyika Wildlife Park and the Sedgwick County Zoo, according to the release.
Registration is $65 and includes lunch each day and a reception on June 13. Group discounts are available.
