Gov. Sam Brownback will attend a ribbon cutting for Mayflower Clinic’s new location, 209 E. William, Suite 104, at 3 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from the clinic.
Mayflower Clinic has offered free health services to the uninsured and laid off workers since 2010 using mostly volunteer providers. It provides mental health services on weekdays and medical services on weekends, said Abdul Arif, founding board member.
Originally, it was located at 3305 E. Douglas in space donated by Dr. Eustaquio Abay.
The nonprofit clinic began accepting patients at its new location on Jan. 12.
