Magellan Midstream Partners on Wednesday marked the completion of a $14 million expansion project at its fuel terminal in Valley Center with a brief ceremony.
The two projects included adding a 100,000-barrel gasoline storage tank, a 30,000-barrel ethanol storage tank, modernizing the fuel truck bays and connecting the terminal to a nearby fuel pipeline.
Scores of fuel trucks a day go through the terminal to pick up loads of gasoline and diesel for the Wichita-area market.
Magellan is based in Tulsa.
