Job fair set for Wichita on Tuesday

About 60 local employers, as well as out-of-state companies, will be taking resumes and seeking to hire people at The Wichita Eagle’s annual Career Expo this Tuesday, April 10.

Several industries will be represented at the event, said Bob Loudermilk, show organizer and president of Quantum Expositions. He said the number of companies participating has doubled compared to last year’s event.

The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Century II Exhibition Hall and is free to job seekers. Those attending are encouraged to dress professionally and bring several copies of their résumé to the event. The event also includes free seminars and résumé evaluations.
