Verizon to expand 4G network west of Wichita

Verizon Wireless announced that it will expand its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network west of Wichita starting on April 19.

Verizon Wireless 4G LTE service is currently available in much of the Wichita area. The expansion will improve service around the St. Mark Catholic Church, the Eck Field Airport and surrounding areas. In Goddard, coverage will improve in the city and along U.S. 54 going west between Goddard and Garden Plain.

The expanded network enables customers to use wireless devices at speeds up to 10 times faster, according to Verizon.
